The Giving to the Needy Mission International, GINMI has commended the ongoing stakeholder engagements by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, The Rake reports.

GINMI, one of the leading Nongovernmental Organisations with core competencies in sustainable skills empowerment and human capital development said the meeting of the Minister is an indication of an intentional approach geared towards fertilising ideas and collation of opinions to run the office.

In a statement released by the Chairman, of the Board of, Evangelist Reuben Uche Egwu, the Organisation asserted that it takes one with international and regional tentacles to embark on such far-reaching and multifaceted engagements all in a bid to live above expectation.

Evangelist Egwu announced:

“We commend the meeting of a first-class succour giver and a versed humanist, Dr. Betta Edu for meeting with key actors in the humanitarian industry.

“The meeting with the Nigerian Army billed to forestall break down of law in the event of succour provision, the collaborative engagements of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Bank, the Deutsch government and a host of others, signals a new dawn for the country.

“Expectedly, the results of these international and regional collaborations will be tsunamic, thus ushering in a new phase of national life characterised by empowerment of the people, and ending poverty”.

He said the organisation will continue to support every effort of the minister in her relentless efforts towards lifting m multitudes out of the socioeconomic quagmire.

It could be recalled since the assumption of office, Betta has had a serious collaborative meeting.
