Comrade Julius Emeka says it is heartwarming to see the almost decaying road infrastructure in Nigeria being revived under President Ahmed Tinubu.

Emeka expressed happiness that for nearly two decades of infrastructural decays in Nigeria, the determined efforts of the present administration of President Tinubu evidenced in the assemblage of technocrats to drive the nation’s development agenda should be highly commended.

Speaking to reporters Friday in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, the Media Assistant to Governor David Umahi asserted that the news of the appointment of his principal as the Works Minister could not have come at a better time than now given the urgency of returning to the era of good roads that traverse nooks and crannies of the country.

According to him, Governor Umahi’s towering footprints in infrastructure and road construction will continue to remain unrivalled in the entire southern Nigeria.

“The highest appointment made by President Tinubu is the choice of the former leader of Ebonyi State, Engr David Umahi.

“You journalists are already aware of his records in Ebonyi State, in fact, southern Nigeria as a whole.
“It’s no news he will assist Mr President in giving the country the deserving facelift.
” In Nigeria, concrete roads came into being through ex-governor Umahi, replicating same is what we already sure of.
“The rewriting of the nation’s infrastructural history has just begun with the appointment of Chief Umahi, a consummate engineer, infrastructural guru, and a master strategist as the Minister of Works, Federal Republic.

” Now, the era of bad roads is history, for all old roads have passed away, and all roads become new with Ex-Governor Umahi”
